On Tuesday, October 13, 2026, all juniors and seniors will be bused to Kids America in Coshocton for the annual Coshocton CARES College and Career Fair. So far, we have 46 colleges, four military, three trade unions and 20 businesses attending. New this year is ProAv Flight Training School out of New Philadelphia.
Mrs. Nolan, Coshocton CARES advisor, will be in classrooms on Monday, October 12 to fill you in on this year's fair.

We are excited to announce that our attendance efforts are paying off!
Chronic absenteeism is defined as missing 10% or more of the school year. That equals approximately 18 days or just 2 days each month.
During the 2025–26 school year, RVLSD’s chronic absenteeism rate improved from 22% to **17%**!
A special shout-out goes to River View High School, where the rate dropped from 31% to **21%** , a remarkable **10-percentage-point decrease**!
Thank you to our staff, students, and families for emphasizing the importance of showing up every day. We could not have achieved this progress without everyone’s efforts!
We will continue building on this momentum throughout the 2026–27 school year. September is Attendance Awareness Month, and we will be holding special activities each week.

TECHMobile Ohio is thrilled to visit River View
high school and introduce students to the
diverse, dynamic, and rewarding STEM
career pathways awaiting them.
During their regularly scheduled class
periods, our students will visit the
gymnasium to participate in an interactive
career exploration event hosted by
TECHMobile Ohio. They will have the
opportunity to connect directly with
regional employers, higher education institutions, and industry organizations.
Each station is designed to highlight the
diverse STEM career opportunities.
We are excited for this event!
