Dear River View Families,
We’re excited to share that Healthy Kids Programs is partnering with River View Local Schools to provide before and after-school care for the 2026–2027 school year—and enrollment is now open! (This program is not run directly by River View Local Schools, but rather the third-party organization Healthy Kids.) The program is located at River View Elementary.
Programs are available for Kindergarten through 12-year-olds.

The programs are designed with flexibility in mind to meet the needs of busy families:
Before School Care
Available from 7:00 AM until the start of the school day
After School Care
Available from school dismissal until 6:00 PM
Both programs offer full-time and part-time monthly tuition options, so you can choose the schedule that works best for your family.

Additional Care Options at River View -
Schools Out Program: Full-day or half-day care on scheduled no-school days (professional development days, breaks, etc.)
Drop-In Care: Perfect for families needing flexible, occasional care—with same-day reservations available
Schools Out and Drop-In Care do not require monthly tuition. Instead, care is paid at the time of reservation. Please note that prior enrollment is required for participation in these programs.

Limited-Time Enrollment Offer
The standard enrollment fee is $100 per student, but for a limited time:

Register by June 30, and pay only $25 per student for enrollment fee!

This is a great opportunity to secure your child’s spot for just $25, even if your care needs aren’t fully decided yet. With Healthy Kids available all year, you’ll have reliable support whenever you need it—before school, after school, or on days off.

Another important part of our March Professional Development Day at River View Local Schools focused on student data privacy and responsible technology use in the classroom. Our Technology Director from the ESC joined us to provide guidance on Ohio Senate Bill 29 and what it means for educators when using digital tools and applications with students. Staff discussed how to ensure student data is protected, what to consider when selecting classroom technology, and best practices for responsible use. As technology continues to play a major role in education, it’s important that we stay informed and thoughtful about how student data is handled. We appreciate the ESC’s partnership in helping keep our staff up to date on these important topics. 💻🐻
