Income eligibility is now determined through JFS, either through the OhioBenefits portal or the paper income verification form (the paper form can be picked up from & returned to RVES but is still processed by JFS).

The purpose of Early Childhood Education preschool classes is to offer a quality preschool setting for children whose family income falls below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines and are three years old or four years old in the current year.  If they are younger than three, please contact Rachel, rachel.barnett@rvbears.org, to be placed on the waitlist.

River View's Special Education Preschool offers preschool services and therapies to students who 3 - 5 years old and have a documented disability.

If you suspect your child might have a disability you may request assistance through the

Office of Special Programs at 740-824-3523.

Typical preschool students are between three and five years old and, do not meet the eligibility requirements for the Early Childhood Preschool or the Special Education Preschool.  Typical preschool students may be educated in the same classrooms as our special education preschool students, to serve as positive peer models.
