We are excited to officially kick off the school year SY25-26 and welcome you once again to the opportunity to make a difference in someone else's life. We want to share some important updates regarding the Food Service Department.
1. All enrolled students at River View are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at NO CHARGE, without needing to fill out the Free and Reduced Meal application form.
2. Please note that menus will not be printed unless requested.

3. If you're new to the district and would like to set up a meal account, please reach out for the necessary form.

LUNCH ACCOUNT PAYMENT INFORMATION

River View Local Schools is participating in the National School Lunch and Breakfast program called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the 25-26 school year. Through the CEP, all students will receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to them. The Federal Income Eligibility Guidelines will no longer be used to determine who qualifies- all enrolled children are included. This means families no longer need to submit a lunch application for their children to receive free breakfast and lunch. A la carte food purchases, such as ice cream, smart snacks, and additional meals, are not included in this program and will incur a charge. When a student's account has a negative balance, no sales will be permitted for a la carte purchases until the outstanding balance is paid in full. Previous negative lunch balances before implementing the CEP program will stay in their account until paid, and are an obligation that must be paid to participate in special events at River View Local School District. Lunch payments for extras and second meals are also accepted at each building via cash or check. Use the link below to make an online credit card payment to the River View Local School District for school fees or lunch accounts. There is an added charge for using this payment method, which will automatically be calculated by the service provider.
